Over Christmas vacation it seems that Elena bumped her tooth on a wall. Lol. Funny thing about that is that she didn't cry or anything, but did tell us that her tooth hurt. She explained clearly how she played and hit her tooth on a wall. *sigh* Oh Elena. It's the second time she has bumped this tooth. The first time was at home while playing with her Daddy. She also did not cry.
Anyway, I did a little research online and noticed that trauma to a toddlers tooth can cause it to turn gray. Sure enough, her tooth has turned gray. :( Of course it had to be one of her front teeth too. Ugh.
So I have read that it is likely that it will turn back to it's normal color in a few weeks. I also read that it's really common. I guess it makes sense since so many children tend to fall down and hit their mouths.
Man oh man. Poor kid. She'll have pictures of her tooth smile now. Hopefully it'll go away before she gets pictures taken in May for her 4th birthday.
Has this happened to anyone you know?
I am planning on taking her to a dentist. Just have to find a good one.
