Lately I have been doing a lot more reading.

Since things have started improving with my leg and mobility, I find that my attention span is more accommodating to a new book at night (my favored reading time). I spent so much time trying to sleep away the pain while I was 'down and out'. I just couldn't compute ANYTHING while hurting.

I am finally active again, but find myself craving a good read! Isn't it typical? I had all the time in the world to read and didn't. Now that I am on the move I wish I could sit still for a bit. Haha.

In Sunday School today Keith challenged me (the class too of course) to not just read chapters and chapters of the Word, but to study it. I am going to try this.  Commentaries are so helpful. Have any favorites? Jonathan uses Haley's Bible Handbook.

That being said, I feel a sense of urgency to not only delve into a great series during my free time, but to dig deep into God's Word.

Have any books you suggest I read?

I have also started practicing the ukulele. It's been interesting.  Perhaps I will post a video someday.
